“ What I wanted to get from the Level 2 was greater confidence in
Implementing the exercises with my athletes.
It has impacted my programming tremendously, I have learned how to cue my athletes through the exercises, how to give support whether physically or verbally ,when to step in and when to fade my physical or verbal prompting .
And finally, when communicating with my athletes, I am able to label the exercises consistently, especially in the first couple of sessions . I feel so empowered from taking the Autism Fitness Level 2."

“Level 2 was a logical step after Level 1, because we work in a small and focused group. From the Level 2 course I wanted to get more specific information and ideas on how to improve my work with athletes. Biggest challenge before Level 2 was how to individualize, scale and transferable programs that I can work individually and in small groups.
Takeaways messages from Level 2 were how to make appropriate contingency, how to assess, adapt and monitor the progress process of each athlete. It impacted me and helped me a lot to have better programming and communication skills to react and expand knowledge to be more prepared and share that knowledge with my athletes."

"I took the Autism Fitness Level 2 Certification course in 2021. I wanted to have a more in-depth understanding of neurodivergent body movements; being able to create an effective and functional exercise program that fits each of my athlete’s unique needs and deficits. I do not have a kinestheology background, so I was not confident in my programming to be beneficial to my athletes. In the Level 2 Certification course, it was more of a collaborative environment, while giving helpful insights to aid each athlete/program. I have since participated in many discussions, and not only learned from Eric Chessen, but from each other. Everyone had a different background and experience; I was able to incorporate what I learned from my peers and use it to better my athletes."

" Level 2 has truly exceeded my expectations. After attending Level 1 in 2019 and gaining a solid foundation in teaching basic skills to my athletes, I decided to join Level 2 to delve deeper into the movement and expand my knowledge to better assist my athletes. The program provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the movement, allowing me to better assess and improve the performance of each of my athletes. The in-depth knowledge and techniques I acquired have been instrumental in enhancing their abilities, and I consider this to be the most significant takeaway from the training.
Additionally, being a Level 2 Autism Fitness professional has opened doors for me to broaden my professional portfolio. This certification has given me an added advantage in effectively communicating with both new and existing clients. It has not only enhanced my expertise but also instilled confidence in my clients, making them more willing to trust my guidance.
I highly recommend Level 2 to any fitness professional who aims to deepen their understanding of the movement and optimize their ability to support athletes with autism & other neurodivergent populations. Thank you Eric for providing such an amazing program! "

"I took Level 2 to expand my knowledge of fitness programming for the neurodivergent community that I serve and for my own son.
As a parent of an autistic child and an Autism Fitness Professional, I strive to help athletes on the spectrum achieve happier, healthier lives through exercise. The Level 2 course went in depth and helped me gain a deeper understanding of the exercises we use to create individualized programs.
Prior to the Level 2 course, I struggled with the insecurities of whether I was developing the right programs for my athletes or using the right progressions or modifications. After the wealth of knowledge and confidence I gained from Level 2, I no longer struggle with self-doubt in my athlete’s programs.
I would highly recommend the Level 2 course for individuals serious about using the tools and knowledge they gained in Level 1 to help the ASD community. Not only will you hone your skills as a coach, but you will gain a community of support and resources in the other Level 2 candidates and coaches that are invaluable."
